Field Notes from our 2010 Ghana Media Interns

Last Friday (June 11), our 2010 Ghana Media Interns left Canada to start an unforgettable adventure in Kumasi, Ghana. In partnership with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), jhr’s interns will be spending three months working at Kapital Radio to produce news stories and assist with programming, editing, and advertising in cooperation with African students.

Ashley, Kallee, and Laura will produce a vast array of media related to the Millenium Development Goals, CIDA’s work in Ghana, and Canadian development efforts. From blog posts to documentaries, from articles to photographs, our interns will use the broad spectrum of media available to us today to report on their experiences in Ghana.

Follow their discoveries, musings, and overall experience on our Field Notes blog today!
